Okay hear me out. You know that Prada raffia tote that literally every influencer has been carrying to the farmer's market since last summer? The one that costs $1,950? I love it, but I am absolutely not spending rent money on a bag made of straw that I'm going to drop a bruised peach into.

I was at Target yesterday (getting laundry detergent, as always) and I found a dupe that made me do a double-take.

Where They Differ (Being Honest)

I'm not going to lie to you—the Target bag doesn't have the embroidered Prada logo (obviously). The Target version is also slightly stiffer on day one, but after carrying it around with my laptop and a water bottle, it's already slouching perfectly. The Prada one is softer out of the box, but for a 98% discount, I'll break it in myself, thanks.

Is It Worth It?

Honestly? The dupe is an absolute yes. A straw bag is inherently a seasonal piece. You're going to take it to the beach, put it on the grass at the park, and stuff it in your trunk. Do you really want to baby a $1,950 beach bag? Get the Target one and spend the $1,915 you saved on an actual vacation.
